What does 7 Versions do?
7 Versions is a boutique, vendor-agnostic AI consulting firm based in Colorado. We build custom, governed AI systems on top of the data you already have, including spreadsheets, PDFs, and email, and we make sure your team uses, trusts, and owns the result.
Do we need to know exactly what AI tool we want?
No. We help evaluate the business process first, then recommend the simplest tool or integration that fits the job.
Can you work with our existing systems?
Yes. Most useful modernization work starts by connecting, improving, or replacing parts of the systems already in use.
How does 7 Versions price its work?
Advisory is billed hourly, with the first two hours complimentary and no retainer or minimum. Workshops and keynotes are fixed-rate per session. Project implementation is scoped during discovery and confirmed with a written estimate before any work begins.
What makes 7 Versions different from a typical AI agency?
We are boutique and vendor-agnostic: we build custom when that is right and recommend an existing product when that is better, so you are never locked to one platform. The goal is not more output, it is better decisions, and what you build, you keep.
Do you work with companies in the Denver and Boulder area?
Yes. We work with organizations across the Colorado Front Range, including Denver, Boulder, and the surrounding metro, on-site and remotely.
Is this only for Colorado companies?
No. 7 Versions is based in Colorado and works with businesses locally, nationally, and globally.
What is a forward-deployed engineer?
A forward-deployed engineer, or FDE, is a software engineer who embeds with your team, learns how your work actually happens, and builds AI directly into your workflows. 7 Versions provides independent, vendor-agnostic FDEs: they work in your interest, build on infrastructure you control, and what they build stays yours.
